7. Rules - Mono Print Competition.

 

This competition is intended to encourage members to produce mono prints. No differentiation will be made between Level 1, 2 or 3 members and the competition will not form part of the league. The judge will assess all entries and choose a First, Second, Third and a number of Highly Commended and Photographer of the Year points will be allocated for entering the competition and for positions achieved accordingly.

7.1 To enter the competition a member can submit up to three mono prints. The actual number of prints used will be at the discretion of the competition secretary, so there order of preference should be given.

7.2 Monochrome prints are defined as black and white work going from the very dark grey (black) to the very clear grey (white) with the various shades of grey. A black and white image with the black toned in a single colour will remain a monochrome work.

7.3 A member need not have entered league competitions.

7.4 At the end of the competition the judge will choose the best print and present the trophy.
