'Travels with my Traps'

I will present my experiences with a DSLR camera, trapping for wild animals in the UK, beginning with practicing and perfecting the technique in the back garden at home and progressing to more challenging environments capturing intimate daytime and nightime shots of rare and elusive mammals. As well as including my resulting best shots, the talk will be an account of my journey with the technique including pitfalls along the way and how the numerous challenges were overcome. My overall aims are twofold, firstly to provide an entertaining and informative talk pitched at a level where anyone can understand the principles involved and secondly to potentially encourage others to have a go at the techniques themselves.
