If you would like to submit your own pictures for our "Members' Gallery" follow these simple instructions:
You must be a member of Chelmsford Camera Club.
For your own gallery, select up 12 pictures of your own work.
If you submit only 1 or 2 pictures, these will feature in "Miscellany".
Having selected your images, you need to resize them as follows:
In Photoshop, choose Image, Image Size OR in Elements choose Image, Resize, Image Size.
Tick both Constrain Proportions and Resample Image, enter 72 pixels/inch as the Resolution, then resize either Width or Height so that the longest side of each one (excluding any borders) is a maximum of 390 pixels.
Remember, if you start with a small picture resize it to a larger size you will degrade the image, so always start with a larger picture and reduce it.
For each picture make sure any Layers have been flattened (Layer, Flatten Image) and save the image in the Format JPEG (under a different name or you may lose your original image) and choose Baseline Standard and move the slider along to its maximum.
Send your pictures by eMail as attachments to:
Don't forget to include in your eMail: your name (if not obvious from eMail address), the titles of the pictures and also any photographic qualifications you have (LRPS, MPAGB, BPE5* etc.)
