FREE ! Software from Microsoft for Digital Photographers

Microsoft Photo Info - allows photographers to add, change and delete common "metadata" properties for digital photographs from inside Windows Explorer.

Microsoft RAW Image Thumbnailer and Viewer for Windows XP - Install this and Canon and Nikon raw files appear as an image in Windows Explorer (just like jpg's do)

Microsoft Color Settings Applet for the Control Panel - Install this to manage all you colour profiles for displays, printers and scanners

DxO FilmPack v1.1

A strange product this one. Do you want to give your digital image the look of slide film like Kodachrome 25 or 64, Fuji Velvia 50, Fuji Provia 100. Colour print film such as Fuji Reala or Superia, Kodak Portra. Black and White film like Ilford Pan F, HP5, XP2 or Kodak Tri-X 400. If you do then this is the product for you.

It is available at install time to install as a standalone program or as addins to Photoshop CS,2,3 or into DxO's other product DxO Optics.

Kodachrome 25 with push processed HP5 grain - no problem !!

There are simple settings to modify contrast and saturation, and some basic toning settings. If you want a really weird image then there are some cross processing options.
