Programme:
We provide a first-class, entertaining and informative programme of high quality speakers on all aspects of the hobby, both traditional and digital.
Competitions with a theme of 'Creative'.
This season we have a Print and PDI competition with the theme 'Creative'. So exactly what is creative?, take a look at the RPS Creative Groups definition.
Practical Workshops:
These are held monthly on Thursday evenings 7.45pm at the Bell Centre, Bell Street, Great Baddow - see Programme for details. The only car parking at the Bell Centre is for 3 cars, these will be required by those bringing equipment, please park in the Vineyards car parks. Where is the Bell Centre?
Competitions:
Are held throughout the season. We hold league competitions for Print Colour and Print Monochrome, and Digital Projected Images. There is also the annual Burley Cup for a Panel of 3 Prints, and the Cyril Chorley Memorial Trophy for a panel of 6 Prints.
External Competitions:
The club participates in many external competitions, in 2009/10 the club won 9 competitions it entered. In the same year Chelmsford got to the National Finals of the PAGB digital and print competitions, finishing a very respectable 10th in the print competition.
