1] Image width must not exceed 1024 pixels
2] Image height must not exceed 768 pixels
3] In the event that members images either do not reach a width of 1024 pixels or a height of 768 pixels it is recommended that members place their image on a canvas size of 1024 pixels X 768 pixels. The canvas to be a colour of their choice.
4] The club projection equipment has been calibrated in the RGB colour space and it is recommended that members images use the same colour space.
5] All images are to be saved in JPEG format with the quality slider set to give a file size not exceeding 300kb.
6] All information required for the competition secretary is to be contained in the image file name by using the following file name format.
Member Number followed by a hyphen followed by order of viewing preference followed by a hyphen followed by the image title.
For example, a member with membership number 99 might enter 3 images for a competition with the following file names:-
If support for the competition is such that only 2 images per member can be shown then for member 99 Candlelight will not be entered.
7] All members entries must be submitted to the projected image secretary 1 week before the evening of the competition. Files MUST be submitted on either a USB drive or preferably on a CD. CD’s or USB drives will be returned for collection on the evening of the competition.
